Symbolism: Perspective

We walk this path,
Without a single catch,
While the splash of black
Creeps into the sullen track;
White aglow
This morning call
A smile stuck
Like an everlasting sketch –
Colors inverted,
In this stately deck. °

Can’t seem to focus,
Can never be part of a blend.
What is happening?
Oh, my precious kin –
The hue that holds them all
And the one with the lack thereof –
Two streams melding
And everything in between –
Strike a melody
So wonderful. °

We
Hope to prevail
Hope to love,
Past the calloused hands
Our blood and sweat,
Are the same and one. °

Towards Light

All things unsung
Await your return;
Run –
Past the petrification;
Into the Fog
Towards light,
And the dawn will rise,
Like a Phoenix, reborn.

Human

Walking with no expression.

Changing shades
Like the rhythm of the sky,
Yet –
The blurry glass
Reflects each hidden jar
Of the unrest past.

Each sentence
Deconstructed.
Overthinking.
Who am I?

In the clasp of the call
Beyond the insipid scars;
Tenacious beings of the stars
Smiling, to rise from each fall
Again and again.
Unbridled kindness
Stitching one to all.
Simply inspiring
With each passing hour.

The Nutcracker

Happy Holidays everyone! I’ll try post a Christmassy poem, starting at the 1st day of Christmas. Have a merry day 🎄🎄

A wonderful dream
Warps you into a world
Of friends and foes,
Lights and snow,
Flowers and Candies
Dance with them all.

A tale from a hundred, past.
A love that rekindles each wintery squall,
Open your mind
And we shall wander –
Into the land of ethreal wonder.

Silence

The feeling of hope
And the dread, with a dark hole,
Mingle and merge
With the fog on hold.

The tranquility of the water
Battle with the chaos, a little sober
From the talk that takes over
The sanity of the heart.

Silence, the leaves remain
Unmoved, the lake claim
The look beyond facades go,
Mere mortal fears, still cold.

Tree of Life – Light

This starry night
With no snow in sight,
The lights rise
In synchronous tides,
With the tree of life
Taking the center stride.

With no armor
We wander
Past the will ó wisp,
The air all crispy,
Music in the air,
It was a wondrous affair.

Fire 3: Light

This festive season
The crackling rises
In synchronous tides,
Warmth and wonder
Reclaim their stride.
Passing the stories –
With the jolly crowd,
Tap your feet to the aster loud.
Love, my sweet,
The lights are back to town.

Fire 1: Starry Night

This starry night,
With the warmth licking our soul
Lost in a million words,
A simple gesture
Serenades as hope, and
We wander
Past the land of green and yellow
Lost in the sound of the harp
A little mellow
Foxtrot with the bluebells
And lo! It all begins
A lore of the sweetest whisper
The light, when the earth turns darker
Sparkling, eyes stare in wonder.

Hello

The flashes of light
In the ashen sky,
Like the autumn rain
Connecting the summer tides,
Our eyes meet
And the colors collide;
A simple smile
And the spark glows, alive;
Hello.
