Sing to me,
As we bask in the sun –
The lullaby.
Your guitar strings
Break the balance
Between our souls –
Stripped bare,
Barred by none;
What on earth have we done?
It’s the clash of the clans,
The trees found out,
It was a diffraction of lands –
As the blizzards streamed on,
That cold evening twilight.
Your eyes don’t fret –
Wavering with your breath,
Your lips on my skin.
It was such a blissful sin.
